Though a quiet suburb, Milton is a very short distance from the Brisbane CBD no matter how you travel. Walk or cycle along the riverside pathway, take a short car trip or ride the train from only one station to the next.

From the Inner City Bypass take either the Milton Road exit to go past Suncorp Stadium and the XXXX Brewery, or use the Coronation Drive exit and follow it along the riverside. If you’re on the Riverside Expressway go past all the city turn-offs until it becomes Coronation Drive.

CityCat Ferry

A CityCat terminal recently opened in Milton on 18 January 2015, and is located near Park Road. In between the South Bank and Regatta terminals, the CityCat is one of the best ways to get to Milton, with ideal access to Park Road, and a 20 minute walk to Suncorp Stadium.

Address: Milton CityCat Terminal, Coronation Drive, Milton. (Located at the end of Park Road).

The Springfield, Ipswich & Rosewood lines service the four platforms of Milton Railway Station. Built in 1884 and then rebuilt in 1960, the Milton Railway Station is undergoing a major upgrade as part of Brisbane's first TOD (Transport Oriented Development).
